Why would an app be helpful to my business?

Apps are increasingly seen as minimum ante for businesses looking to provide an optimal buying experience, especially for B2B. Apps are faster, offer push messaging, convert sales 2-6X better, and give your best customers the always-on buying experience they expect.

Why is Unbound different from other app solutions?

We do not use quickie “web framing” – so our builds are custom-coded to your specifications. Because we are API-integrated with most eCommerce platforms, we seamlessly leverage and extend your current eCommerce operations, into an app. Our customer service is also second to none.

How does your pricing work?

We charge a 1-time professional services fee for the build and a nominal monthly SaaS Fee of $500/mo. We do not take a revenue share or employ “elevator” monthly pricing models that start low and are designed go up.

What eCommerce platforms have you worked with?

We have experience with BigCommerce, Optimizely, Demandware/Salesforce, Shift4Commerce, Woo Commerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopify, and others. We can also work with custom platforms and are very good at integrating third party elements, like search, live chat, ratings and reviews, loyalty, etc.

How long does it take to build an app?

Usually 6-8 weeks. Unlike “quickie no-code web framers” who promise an app in days, we take the time to learn your business and complete the app project once, the right way. In the end, this saves our clients time and money.

Will I have to manage the app AND my website?

No. We integrate with your ecommere operations so all the data that powers it flows into the app and app orders flow directly into your system back end. The only elements of the app that will have to be managed are push notifications and optional custom banners and promotions on the app.

How do I control the app?

Via a secure and easy-to-use dashboard – to make homepage changes and send push messages.

What if my website changes? Do I have to pay Unbound more?

Typically no. We fully integrate the app with your eCommerce operations so that all changes are reflected in the app automatically. However, many of our customers ask for additional phases of work, to layer-in additional functionality, after ROI has been achieved. This is of course optional.

My business is growing. Will the app handle the traffic?

Yes, built-in auto-scaling means our platform scales up with your traffic needs. We use AWS hosting and handle apps for merchants that range from $1M to $1B+ in sales. The platform is designed to automatically increase capacity, as-needed.

Are Apple (iOS) and Android both included?

Yes, we build and deliver two apps within the scope of work for our app projects.
